Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Leavely ("the service"). By installing or using Leavely you agree to them.

What Leavely does

Leavely is a Slack app that lets teams request, approve, and track paid time off from inside Slack. It is operated by Valar Digital.

Who may use it

Anyone with permission to install a Slack app in their workspace. By installing, you confirm you have that permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use Leavely to:

• Send spam, harass team members, or transmit unlawful content.
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to access data belonging to other workspaces.
• Automate fraudulent PTO requests or otherwise misrepresent work status.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

Your data

See the Privacy Policy. You own the data your workspace creates. We process it only to provide the service. On uninstall, we delete it.

Service availability

Leavely is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantees during the free phase. Scheduled maintenance and incidents happen; we'll post notices in the Leavely app home tab or at leavely.ai.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valar Digital's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Leavely is limited to the fees you've paid us in the twelve months preceding the event (which is currently $0 while the service is free).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, business interruption, or data loss — even if advised of the possibility.

Termination

You can uninstall Leavely from your Slack workspace at any time, which immediately terminates your use of the service and triggers deletion of your workspace's data (see Privacy Policy §"How long we keep it"). We can terminate your access with 30 days' notice or immediately for acceptable-use violations.

Changes to these Terms

Material changes are announced at least 14 days before taking effect, via the Leavely app home tab and this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
